We went camping this weekend. It was OK. Everywhere in Arizona was hot! We were at 7,000 feet and it was 100 degrees. So we are all sunburnt and tired. Not excatly relaxing like we excpected. We weren't able to have a fire at night either because most of Arizona is on fire already. To top off our not so relaxing trip we blew a tire on the freeway coming home. That was crazy stressful! Doug was changing the tire Elli was screaming and cars were passing @ 85-90 miles an hour, not to mention it was 113 outside on the hot asfalt.
The good news is that camping was super fun for the girls. They both just love nature. It's so amazing how concted to Earth they already are. It seems to put them at ease. So all in all it was worth every minute to see them so happy. We're looking forward now to our trip home. After that camping trip we just know the girls will love it!
Swimming lessons start this week! Papa is going with us for the first three days. Then Doug can go on thursday, but after that Granny and Papa will rotate. Doug is getting Lasik on friday and he can't swim for a month. Bad choice in timing for Arizona weather huh! Anyway thats what's up here. What's up with you?
