We went camping the weekend after mother's day. It was so much fun, but a lot of work! We barely fit the family and all the gear in the van, but we managed! This campground was so beautiful and cool, oh so cool! The day we drove out it was 67 degrees and 10am. It was 107 degrees when we pulled into Phoenix and 6pm that night. We took our time on the way home and drove the back roads and saw the sights. One of the families we went with are from California so they haven't seen much of Arizona so we took them through Oak Creek Canyon, Sedona, Jerome, and Prescott. It was fun, but we were mega tired! The kids handled the drive better then expected...what a blessing! Lets see...whats new??? We decided not to build the basement house. Yuck, but it's for the best. We were having such a horrible time getting it finaced. The aprasers don't like it because it is too unique. So, we are going to build a smaller house first and maybe in a few years our dream home. It will be best even though it's hard. The girls are doing great. Loralei is loving painting and playing with her cousin Ashleigh. Everyday she says something new and makes us laugh. Ellianna is talking more now too! It's so sweet to hear her little voice and understand it. Although Elli is rough and tumble she is my snuggler. We spend a large sum of time suggling. Jayce is growing fast! Too fast! He has already started to kind of giggle. He seems to young, but I can't tell him not to! He is interactive a bit now, so that's fun! Doug is working too much again! All day and night. It's hard, but he has to work when the work is here. I'm coming into a new chapter in my life. I'm starting my own salon in a couple of weeks. It's just a one room shop in a beauty mall kind of thing. I'm only going to work 1 day a week and for special appointments so it should be a nice get away for me, not to mention, the cash flow will be nice. I'm also starting a improv class tonight for six weeks. I'm super excited about that! I guess that's all that's happening around here....Love you all!!!!!

Wow you guys have been busy! Congrats on the salon...that will be great! I'll be thinking of you as we get going on our house adventures. Who knew it was so complicated? :)
